Eric was born in Everett Washington yet grew up mostly in Utah. After graduating from high school in Weber County, Eric joined the United States Navy and ttained as a Propulsion Engineer and stationed abroad as an officer and surface warfare specialist. Later, Eric served an LDS Mission in the Spanish speaking Corpus Christi,TX Mission where he became fluent in the language.  After his mission, Eric went back into the Navy to serve abroad out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Eric then came back to Utah to start a family & work in a family business for 20 years. He has 2 sons: Tyson 28 and Cooper 24.

Eric was a Mixed Martial Arts Fighter for over 10 years, active in the West Regional MMA Top Circuits. He is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing. He has been an instructor at some of Utahs Top facilities.

Eric has been in and out of recovery for many years. He finally found the H.E.R.O.S. Program which really worked to keep him sober and clean.  Eric lives with his amazing wife, Mindi, and they make their home in Bountiful, Utah.
